Professional Makeup Diploma Program
Our signature 90-hour program covers every fundamental of professional makeup, from skin preparation and colour theory to bridal, photography and runway work, along with the client relations and career skills needed to build a practice. Classes run over three months at Avanti Westmount and are always bilingual.

Meet your instructor
Francine Gagnon
Francine Gagnon has been a professional makeup artist for more than 40 years, including 15 years in feature films, fashion shows, theatre, dance, opera and magazine photography. For the past decade, she has directed and taught the Avanti Le Spa Makeup Academy in Westmount, while creating bridal, gala and photo makeup for Avanti clients. Francine also works regularly with La Presse on photo shoots, digital video and its year-in-review editions. After four decades, her passion is unchanged: sharing her craft with the next generation of makeup artists.

Do I need makeup experience to join?
No. The Professional Makeup Diploma Program starts with the fundamentals, so it suits beginners as well as anyone who already does makeup and wants professional training.
