A Redefined Silhouette

Service treatment

How it works:

Body fillers are high-quality injectable products, often based on hyaluronic acid (a compound naturally present in the body), or collagen biostimulators. Unlike surgical solutions, they offer:

Targeted Volume: The products are strategically injected to add volume, smooth contours, or correct asymmetries.

Immediate and Progressive Results: The volumizing effect is often visible immediately, and depending on the product chosen, it continues to improve over the weeks due to collagen stimulation.

Minor Procedure: The treatment is quick, usually comfortable (thanks to integrated or topical local anesthesia), and requires only minimal recovery time.

Treat:

Correction of hip dips, contouring of the buttocks, backs of the hands, wrinkled or loose skin of the décolletage and neck, laxity and texture of the skin on the arms, laxity and texture of the skin above the knees, atrophic scars and subtle contour irregularities.

FAQ

Are there any contraindications?

Yes, absolutely. Safety being our priority, there are several contraindications that may prevent or delay treatment with cosmetic fillers:

- Pregnancy or Breastfeeding: As a precaution.
- Active Infection: Any infection, inflammation, or rash (e.g., herpes, severe acne) on the area to be treated.
- Allergies: Known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the injected product (e.g., hyaluronic acid, lidocaine).
- Severe or Acute Autoimmune Diseases (to be discussed with your doctor).
- Severe Coagulation Disorders.

Your injecting physician will conduct a complete health assessment during the initial consultation. It is essential to be transparent about your medical history to ensure that the procedure is safe for you.

Is this suitable for everyone?

The ideal patient for dermal fillers is generally someone who:

Seeks Subtle and Non-Surgical Contouring: The person wants a moderately natural enhancement of volume and contour, without committing to invasive surgery.

Has Specific Goals: They are looking to correct localized hollows (such as hip dips), restore lost volume in the hands and décolletage, or improve skin texture.

Has Good Skin Quality: The skin in the area to be treated has some elasticity and firmness to support and integrate the filler product well.

Is in Good Overall Health: They do not have any of the medical contraindications mentioned above.

Has Realistic Expectations: They understand that the treatment adds volume in a targeted manner but is not a substitute for a massive augmentation or liposuction.

In summary, the best candidate is one who desires a minimally invasive solution to refine their silhouette and is willing to commit to the treatment plan set by our doctors.

Are there any side effects?

Yes, like any injection procedure, side effects are possible. Most are mild and temporary.

Frequent (and Temporary) Effects
The most common reactions that disappear within a few days (up to two weeks) are:

- Bruising (blue spots) and swelling (edema).
- Redness and tenderness at the treatment site.

Other potential effects (Less Frequent):
- Less common reactions may occur, but they often require follow-up from the clinic:
- Nodules or irregularities (small bumps that may require massage or correction).
- Delayed inflammatory reactions (swelling or redness appearing a few weeks later).

Rare complications (Medical Emergency):
Although extremely rare, our physicians also inform you of major risks:

- Infection or severe allergic reaction.
- Vascular occlusion (blockage of a blood vessel), which requires immediate medical intervention.

At Avanti Le Spa, your safety is our priority. Our experienced injection doctors work with advanced techniques to minimize all these risks. If you have post-treatment concerns, you must contact the clinic immediately.

How many sessions are needed?

The number of sessions required varies significantly, as it entirely depends on your aesthetic goals and the area being treated.

Moderate Goals: For moderate contouring or correction of hip dips, a single session may sometimes be sufficient to achieve a significant and satisfying result.

Significant Volume: When the goal is to add substantial volume (for example, for buttock augmentation or filling deep hollows), multiple sessions are often necessary. These treatments are generally spread over 2 to 3 sessions, spaced a few weeks or months apart, to allow the product to integrate properly and ensure a gradual and natural result.

Your injector will establish a personalized treatment plan during your first consultation, indicating the number of sessions required to achieve the desired harmony.

When will the results be visible?

The results of dermal fillers are visible immediately after the session, allowing for an immediate improvement in volume and contour.

However, due to the swelling (edema) that is normal after any injection, the result you see on the day of treatment is not the final result. We recommend waiting about 4 to 6 weeks for the product to be fully stabilized in the tissues and for the swelling to completely subside. It is at this time that the results will be the most realistic and final.

Is it painful?

We understand that pain apprehension is a major concern. At Avanti Le Spa, we do everything we can to ensure that the body filler treatment is a comfortable and very tolerable procedure.

Although patients remain awake during the session, we focus on your comfort with effective local anesthesia. The majority of fillers already contain a numbing agent (lidocaine), and we add targeted local anesthesia as needed. Most patients find that the procedure is very well managed and without significant pain, allowing you to relax throughout the treatment.

How long is expected for recovery?

Recovery after treatment with dermal fillers is generally quick and minimal, which is one of the great advantages of this non-surgical procedure.

Immediately: You can resume most of your daily activities immediately after the session.

The first 24-48 hours: It is common to observe slight swelling (edema), redness, and sensitivity to touch.

Physical Activity: We recommend avoiding intense exercise, extreme heat (sauna, hot bath), and alcohol consumption for at least 48 hours to minimize swelling and the risk of bruising.

Complete Disappearance: Bruises and residual swelling generally completely resolve within 7 to 14 days.

In summary, expect minimal social downtime, but allow two weeks for the complete resolution of all visible side effects.

Which areas of the body can be treated?

Our body filler agents offer exceptional versatility to sculpt and rejuvenate multiple areas of the silhouette:

Buttocks and Hips: For adding volume, enhancing contours, and correcting hip dips.

Hands: For rejuvenating the backs of the hands, helping to mask prominent veins and tendons.

Décolleté and Neck: For smoothing wrinkled or loose skin and restoring youthfulness to the area.

Arms: For targeted improvement of skin laxity and texture.

Knees: To improve laxity and texture of the skin above the knees.

Scar Correction: For the mitigation of certain depressed (atrophic) scars and subtle contour irregularities.

The next steps

1. Consultation

Your journey begins with an essential meeting with your injecting physician.

Safety and Eligibility: We conduct a thorough assessment to confirm that you are a safe candidate for the procedure, reviewing your medical history and any potential contraindications.

Complete Information: We take the time to review all aspects of the treatment: the procedure process, the risks, potential side effects, and expected outcomes. This step ensures informed decision-making.

2. Treatment session

Once the treatment plan is established, the procedure is carried out in maximum comfort.

Expertise and Comfort: The treatment is performed in the clinic by one of our expert injector doctors. Your comfort is assured thanks to targeted local anesthesia, making the procedure very tolerable.

Post-Treatment Advice: During this phase, we explain in detail the recommendations to follow immediately after the injection in order to optimize results and minimize side effects.

3. Results and follow-up

Our commitment to your satisfaction does not end at the conclusion of the session.

Post-Treatment Evaluation: At Avanti Le Spa, your satisfaction is paramount. That’s why we conduct a follow-up after 4 to 6 weeks to assess the stabilization of the results, once the initial swelling has subsided.

Adjustments: Depending on the initially desired volume, additional treatments may be scheduled at this time to refine or achieve the desired volume level.
