What is IPL?
IPL is a non-invasive pulsed light procedure that treats imperfections of the skin. By targeting the skin’s chromophores such as melanin and hemoglobin it aims to help improve sun damage, hyperpigmentation, broken capillaries, redness and rosacea. The heat produced by the light treats just below the surface of the skin stimulating your own collagen and tightening pores. As a result, IPL leaves you with a more even, glowing complexion.
Studies have shown that regular IPL treatments can have a long-term overall improvement of skin’s quality and texture.
